VOGUE named THEO a loud debutant 2015

Posted on September 03 2015

"I'm not going to roll my eyes up and bore you with the inspiration thing." - says Theo Dekan having debuted with a full line collection. Fashion for him is a pure math - figuring the proportions out, as well as colors and shapes, and the skill to raise the wow-effect. Shrewd garments with commercial hits like a maxi overcoat or a jacket-dress were presented combined with zooter items and accessoires - silver jumpsuits, latex gloves and gross fashion jewelry.
"I'm doing everything to attract attention," - he said about his clothes. This is his lifestyle principle too. Having a lot of ambition he dreams of a "THEO empire" with fashion as a part of it. Before his career as a designer Theo worked as a successful hairdresser, he was the creative partner of L'Oréal Professionnel and Kérastase, created his own method of dyeing hair. But one profession was too narrow for him, so in parallel he worked as a musician, artist and stylist.
"There was a switch of values - Theo explains the reasons for his appeal to fashion. - When I started, there existed a global demand for the service sector. Now the era of experience has come. People want to live a life that
the fashion-industry generates. I make clothes for a woman who likes to dress up and change."
